Most of the time, trimlight needs to be approved by the HOA first. After setting up a meeting with committee leaders to show them how the Trimlight system works—that it is hidden during the day, can be programmed to work on certain holidays, and that any repairs or maintenance issues will be taken care of quickly—most HOAs are on board with it.
Can I control what colors I see from my Trimlight system?
Yes, just long press any color circle outside the gray line box on the color palette screen. This will bring up a window where you can slide your finger through the color spectrum to find a custom color or type in RGB codes for other color choices. After that, click OK, and that color will stay in that color circle.
One color can be shown at a time, and up to 90 lights of each color can be set up. You can set 90 red lights, 15 orange lights, 1 purple light, 5 white lights, and so on. It's important not to set more than 90 of each color, and each pattern can have up to 30 different colors.
Can I see Trimlight during the day?
Trimlight has a patented channel system that is made to match the color of the roofline. This makes the lines invisible. They keep the lights in place safely, and you can hardly see them during the day.
